Software specifications:

During the enrolment procedure the personal data and the fingerprints are read and stored on the local, or remote database server.

 

The fields needed to be filled in order to read and store the fingerprints include name, surname, nationality, and 10 code, as well ad notation concerning the criminal records.

In order to successfully enroll a fingerprint in the database, 3 images of the same finger are needed. For each image which is  read, in the upper-Ieft corner is displayed a number which represents the fingerprint accuracy score. This number can vary between O and 100. If the image taken has an accuracy score of at least 60 it is considered as a valid image. After 3 images, each with an accuracy score better than 60, the fingerprint is ready and it is stored in the database.

The next window is displayed when searching for fingerprints identification of a person. The application waits for the data transfer from the fingerprint reader. After the fingerprint is read the application compares it with fingerprints in the database.

In case of matching with similar fingerprint previously enrolled, the personal data file of the identified person is displayed.

An other layer allow to view the content of data base and full list of verified persons, selected upon different filters criteria like fingerprint, date, nationality, age, criminal records, etc.
